In Matthew 28:19 it’s says”  Jesus said

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Fear is what stops people from witnessing. Don’t let fear keep you from witnessing.

  1. Sadly, it’s not just fear. My experience is most Christians just don’t care. My evidence? I have many Christians following my evangelism Facebook fan page.
When I post a new link to content on the website, all they have to do is click the ‘share’ button when they see the posting on their wall. Of the 50-plus Christians who are on the FB fan page, I can count on less than one hand the number who will bother to click the ‘share’ button so their friends will see the link.
It’s been a startling and dismaying discovery. They just won’t click the ‘share’ button, even when I suggest it. 😦

Don’t feel bad I know just what you mean and yes it’s that many don’t care but fear stops people from doing things. And if they really knew the heart of God they would want to witness to those who don’t know Jesus. Thank you for commenting and I hope you come back to the site anytime and share. And by the way I am on Facebook if you send me an invite to your page I would truly share the link of Evangelism…I have the same problem when it comes to prayer I invite people to come and do you know they will say yes they are coming but don’t even do it? And the thing about it is I do this prayer online. They don’t even have to stay the whole time they can dial in and pray for five minutes if they wish and leave but they just won’t do it but they will send me a message and ask for prayer the same night I have prayer. To me if I was in need of prayer and someone was having a prayer meeting on line or in church you can believe I would be there if I am needing prayer. I guess all we can ever do is continue to pray more. And most of the times I am the only one praying who comes but at least The Holy Spirit is with me if no one else shows up. God bless you and have a bless day

  2. When I expect others to evangelize, all I get is frustrated. Saint Paul tells us that we all have varying skills, we must respect scripture at all times.

About 8 years ago I judged a friend about evangelizing, like I was something special! He has obliterated me since in the amount of work he does for God. Look at the log in my own eye comes to mind, God bless

I also have a problem with this, how to bring others to Christ. Some one told me that they will be won over by how I live,it speaks volumes.

Attie what I believe is that when people make that statement is that they are saying people will watch our lives and see how we handle things and from there they will ask how do you manage to stay positive or keep things together when your faced with struggles. I also believe that we are to tell people as well with out mouths just like Jesus told his disciples. For example: Have you ever had someone ask you what is so good about today? See it’s in that moment when we are to give a reason for our hope is what the bible tells us. 1Peter 3:15 says But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. For me I always ask a person everyday how are they doing? And some will say what’s so good about today? My response is this, today is a great day because you are alive. I hope this helps you and please do come back again. God bless you as you share the message of Jesus Christ.

  4. Convey to others that you are sharing a positive message of hope for the hopeless, the Balm of Gilead for the hurting, Christ’s love for the unlovable, God’s forgiveness for the sinner. And that His word is a collection of 66 love letters that were written by his prophets and apostles to us.
