Salvation: Sinner’s Prayer

Romans 10:9-10, 13, says, That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and you are saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and you are saved. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Now that you have read the bible verses and you would like to have Jesus to come into your heart. Below I have given you the “Sinner’s Prayer” all you have to do is say the Sinner’s Prayer. Every person who you know who is a born again Christian had to say the “Sinner’s Prayer”

The Sinner’s Prayer
Jesus I come to you now asking for forgiveness of my sins. For I am a sinner and I confess my sins and repent of them Jesus. I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins and on the third day He arose and now is seated at the right hand of the Father, I ask you Jesus to come into my heart and live with me and cleanse me by your blood. In Jesus name AMEN!

If you have said this prayer today then I say welcome into the family of God for you are now a born again believer child of God.  Luke 15:7 says “There is great rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents.”

Now that you are born again you need to find a church to attend that preaches God’s word.

The reason I say attend church is because you are going to have all kinds of questions pertaining to your new life and what you read in the bible. Your pastor of your church and teachers there can help you with those questions.

  1. Desari, I am convince that there are folk on this Facebook medium that looks at these Spiritual postings but are reluctant to say “amen,” or even share the fact that they aint “saved” and to embarrass to say so. But when I read the “Sinners Prayer,” I thought wow, if this prayer was posted on the “walls” folk would come to Jesus without hesitation.

  2. Did you hear that Billy Graham Ministries has abandoned the Sinner’s Prayer? It’s true. They wanted a “fresh” slogan to appeal to nonbelievers. Here is what they decided on:

“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.”

I personally don’t like it: too Lutheran.

    1. Wow! I never knew that is what they did. You can’t change the sinner prayet just to appeal to sinners. We have to come by the word of God.

Truly we are in the last days
