Believe In Yourself

As a Woman I believe that it is our responsibility to build women up, instead of tearing them down. As Women we must believe in ourselves. We cannot afford to look for validation elsewhere. Each woman must ask herself does she love herself? I would venture out and say that a small percentage would say that they never asked themselves that. Maybe they only like themselves and nothing more.

As little girls growing up, we were molded into being a certain woman in which the world said we are to be. We took what we learned, and we shaped our thought’s, behaviors into this woman of the world.  And because of that we are left with questioning ourselves. For instance.

  • Why waiting becomes hard to do?
  • Why do we judge and comparing ourselves to other women?
  • Why do we always give into what our flesh wants, and then regret it later?
  • How to be Purposeful? Why do we feel the need to settle for less? When we can have the absolute best?
  • What are we rediscovering about yourselves now that God has our attention?

There are so many things in which a woman encounters in her life. So many to count that if I even tried to it will never stop for it is endless.  Ladies it starts with us. We must make the change first by accepting we need God to change us from the inside out.

Then as we grow in age, we read about this Virtuous Woman of Valor she is resourceful, helpful to her family, she is industrious, she is motivated to help her maidens. Which tells me that she is building them up. She is a blessing to her husband, and she watches what comes out of her mouth. Oh, my if we could learn to control our mouths, we would have won half of the battle. She not only a nurturer but she is also a warrior.

God created you and I to be an original not a duplicate fake. The same God that created Heaven and Earth created you. In His creation of you He created you with Love.  You might not feel always feel love you might not like yourself at times. But I can honestly say if you would take the time and read how much the Lord God loves you and who He called you to be. You will never have to look anywhere else or to people to validate who you are anymore.

I will believe that being a Virtuous woman is attainable if we seek the Lord. For years we have done the opposite of what a Godly woman looks like. It is time to stop being a worldly woman and start being a Godly Woman?

Believe in Yourself

  • Learn to love yourself.
  • Your circumstance does not dictate who you are.
  • You are stronger than you think you are
  • Do not let your fears keep you from what God has in store for you.
  • Do not take yourself so seriously, take the time to laugh at yourself.
  • Make time to have your “Me-Time”
  • Self Confidence looks good on you.
  • When we have time to worry we have time to pray.

Psalm 139: 14, I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My prayer for every woman::

Father God I pray that you would help each of us to become the Woman that you have created us to be. Help us to face the struggles that we face as being a woman. Help us to deal with them by your word wash us through and through. Let each of us know our identity in you. Lord! Raise us up to become stronger women in our homes and communities. Let us stop condemning our sisters for the issues that we have and are not women enough to deal with. Forgive us of our sins Lord. Fill us with your Love by first breaking our harden hearts of arrogance and pride. Anoint our thoughts, eyes, hands, mouth, and feet as we go forth in walking in our relationship with you Lord. In the Mighty name of Jesus, AMEN!

There were moments in my life when I felt inadequate did not think I was good enough to do certain things. It was frustrating, I was upset, and angry. It was not until I stopped listening to my fears that I was able to break free. In that very moment I saw that I can do it I can believe in myself.

Fear is an old trick that the devil uses to try to stop us for being all we can be. Therefore, I am motivated in building people up. Fear grips us all the last thing a person needs are for someone to tear them down. They need us to share our experiences so that we can help them and then they can help someone. Before you know it, we have a circle of women who are empowered by the strength of God.

I often get so annoyed at myself for all the slip-ups I make, until I read in God’s Word how much He loves me. It always uplifts me. 🙌

I do understand that feeling. It is not a good feeling at all. Thank God that His word changes our mess ups.

    Definitely, He sure does.

  6. I really love this! It’s so true how God created us to be original and how the world has a way of shaping us but in order to believe in ourself and be who God has called us to be we must first seek and find our identity in him. I also loved how you said, “when you have time to worry you have time to pray.” Definitely needed that today!

My sister thank you so much for taking the time to stop in. I appreciate your comment.

For each of us are beautiful in God’s eyes. And we must see ourselves the way the Father does.
