About Me

I am a woman who has purposed in my heart that I will declare and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I will not compromise His word for anyone or anybody. I love meeting new people and sharing stories. I am an Expository Preaching, Apologetics, Hermeneutics and Exegesis of the Bible.

I am a happily married woman and I thank God for my blessing everyday. Besides being a wife ,I am Mother, Grandmother, Minister and Author of the book, “The Devotion Cafe’ which is on Amazon.com as well as the founder and President of The Devotion Cafe.

The Devotion Cafe, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3). The Devotion Cafe, Inc. purpose for which the corporation is formed are as follows to spread the word of God through Issuance  of bibles, educational materials, etc and provide hope for those in need.

I enjoy many things from sight-seeing, taking photographs, going to my little boutique stores, occasionally  Barnes & Nobles, we have several coffee shops in my city where they have books and so me and my husband will visit them while  mingle with other people in the community, while sipping on my favorite flavor coffee.

I get great pleasure out of reading God’s word and teaching it to other people as it relates to our daily needs.

As you read my daily devotions you will see a lot of myself I share in these postings, I am a very firm believer that if a person is not real and transparent about themselves people find it hard to be able to allow them to minister to them.

Each day I am learning how to live life to the fullest the way God intended us to live it…Thank you Jesus, for everything.

In July 2013 I started a petition. “Telling The World about Jesus Love”.

  1. Hi Minister Desiray, I wanted to drop by and say “Thank you” for following my blog. It’s always a blessing to meet another lover of Our Lord! It’s been a wonderful journey meeting and greeting the various bloggers in the Christian community – just think, we didn’t even know the other existed before stumbling onto each other! God is an amazing God. 🙂 I hope to see more of you!

God Bless you and your family,

  2. As I say Rebecca God can bring people from the four corner of the world to accomplish His mission..and like wise I hope to see more of you as well, as we go through this journey with Christ.

  4. Can’t thank you enough for keeping this blog. Stumbled across it one day when searching for a daily devotional. I come everyday now! Your words are so penetrating and ‘”real.” Sure helps a new church person get into scripture a lot easier than playing pick-a-page roulette with my bible!

    1. Sister Maddie I thank you, for what you just said those words inspired me today. I know what you mean about playing pick a page roulette I use to do that when I was new to church. But I am going to let you in on a little secret, the more you find yourself digging in the word you will stop playing the pick a page….Again thank you so very much for coming by and little did you know that you was going to bless me. See how the Lord does things we blessed one another. God is WOnderful..

    1. Thank you Megan so much I did follow the link and wrote you a message. you keep doing what you are doing because God is going to bless the fruit of your hands.

  5. Hello, Desiray. I just discovered your site today and had to spend some time visiting. It’s wonderful, and I pray the Lord will continue to enlarge your ministry for Him. I’m a minister of the Gospel as well — for a little over 40 years now. I host several different blogs, including the one from which I am commenting. This one (Hangin’ Out With God) and two “Healing From Jesus” blogs are strictly for the purpose of ministry. I have been amazed at the response to the ministry blogs — especially the ones that focus on healing. So many people need healing in the world today, and thousands are finding these sites and finding help.

I had only a short time to visit today, but I listened to part of a radio broadcast. It was great, and I will definitely visit again soon and listen to more. I’m sure those broadcasts help thousands of people out there. The Lord bless you for your faithfulness.

    1. Thank yo u so much Sandra for visiting the site today I do believe it was an Divine Appointment that you was led here. I will stop by and visit your site as well. I do believe in the power of healing I have been healed by the Lord from Colon Cancer last year and it’s amazing how all a person has to do is believe..Since that time I have shared how the Lord has healed me and how He keeps on healing me from what ever I pray about..I could go on and on but if I do it will be a book instead of a comment one day you and I will talk and I will share it all with you. You can email if you wish my email is scent4roses@yahoo.com have a bless day and I look forward to seeing you here again at The Devotion Cafe

  6. Hello there my friend! I hope that all has been well with you. I would like to let you know that I have nominated you for the Loyal Reader Award. I really appreciate the fact that you visit my page and I would like to honor YOU with this award.
Please visit my page to see the award requirements and other information…along with the name of your blog page! Check it out on “Elaine’s Random Thoughts”.
Congratulations on your award nomination. I enjoy reading your stories and look forward to many more of them.

    1. thank you for nominating me but I can’t take no credit my friend, the Lord is the one who has done this change and work in me. And though it was not an easy process at all I am thankful for what I have become and how He is still working in me to finish the work. When I started doing this years ago I was so scared about the things I was to share thought I would be judged but I knew that the things I have been through have to touch at least one person’s life. And over the course of the years I have been blessed to be able to hear people tell me that what I have shared about my struggles and challenges have inspired them. The Lord says that it is through the blood and the word of our testimonies and I am so thankful that GOD has done what He wanted in me because as I say all the time what we go through in life is never about us it’s for others…AMEN Thank you for commenting and I look forward to fellowship with you.

  7. I really admire all you have shared on this “about” page, and am looking forward to reading more here at this blog.
