Your Red Sea Experience

on

Exodus 13: 17-18 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So, God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt ready for battle.

It just amazes me just how detailed the Lord God is. God knows each of us so well, that He knows what we are thinking and what we will and will not do. When we are faced with our own struggles God already know that we might change our minds and go back to the familiar.

You might be saying Lord, this is taking a long-time. Why so long? But have you ever considered that just maybe God is doing to you what He did for Israel when they were in the wilderness?

God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. See, the roundabout way, is not the shortest way of getting there. But it is the less of resistance way.

It is in these times of battles that we must remember that God knows exactly what we will and will not do. Lets be thankful for the roundabout way that the Lord leads us, AMEN!

Have a Blessed Monday.

The wilderness is where character is developed, and life introduces us to ourselves. God transforms us as He leads us on. What a wonderful Father we have. Thanks Sis for sharing.

Yes, indeed. God has His way of doing things for us. So glad He knows me better than I know myself.
