Perfect In Our Weakness

We all from time to time have moments when we feel weak. There is nothing to be ashamed of. For we are human beings with emotions. And so today I want to share a verse to help us when we feel weak.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, and he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

God is saying to us; my grace is enough; it is all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift.

It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Our enemies shall not be able to prevail against us. Talk about an assurance that no matter what we face God is telling us that we will not be permitted to sink under it.

    We need Him everyday.

Very assuring to know whenever am weak, Christ strength is made more manifest. I always ask for His strength not only when I am spiritually weak but also when I am physically weak and Christ has always come through for me! Thank you Jesus.

Oh yes, we need it both way. He surely is GOD all By Himself.

  8. We are on the same page! The Lord drew me to this Scripture as well! I love how the Amplified translates it, “but He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.’ Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.” God bless you and may He continue to inspire you to write powerful words of encouragement and awesome Truths of Him! Hallelujah!!
