She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” Genesis 16:13
There is no other god that chases after us then God Almighty. He is the one who sees us when we feel happy, lonely, or angry. He is the God that is watching over all.
When Hagar had run away into the desert feeling disappointed upset and hurt it was God who surrounded her with His grace and mercy. Our God will never leave us to fend for ourselves in times of darkness.
It was Hagar who said, “You are the God who sees me” for she said, I have now seen the One who sees me.
The same God who saw Hagar sees you and me. This beautiful story reminds us that God is always close, that He sees us when we feel that no one else does, and that He cares.
How wonderful to know God sees me. My brokenness, my weakness, the pain and hurts I cannot put to words. He sees them all. Binds them, heals, soothe, and restore. Thank you Lord for answering even the unuttered prayers. God sees me through and through. He knows me! Love you Lord.
Amen Sister Joan, He does see us. I love how he hears the prayers that I do not mention.
Thanks be to God.
Amen! I love this story in the Bible, it reminds me just how great and awesome God is.
He is so awesome. That is why we must remember that no matter what. Rather we are in fruitful seasons or wilderness seasons.
He is the God who sees us.
Indeed!! 💗 Blessings to you dear.
