You are “Worth It”

Psalm 139:13-15 says” for you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

There are people in who do not know their self-worth. They have been abused in so many ways. We all have struggled with trusting issues. And from that our self-esteem has drop. When this happens, it causes us to wonder if we are worth it?

Life has caused us all pain and suffering, some of this comes by the choices we have made ourselves. Some of the pain comes from the hands of others. But no matter where it comes from, we all will come face to face with questioning ourselves, “am I worth it?”

People may not think you are worthy, this world may not think you are worthy. But I want you to know today without a shadow of doubt. That God says you are worth it! In the scriptures that I have given you we see just how much we are worth; the Lord says we are wonderfully made. For He knitted us by His own hands.

Maybe you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ, perhaps you have not accepted Him into your life. God still says that you are worth it. He says we are perfectly put together for He created us in their image.

My friends if you have never known your worth know it now. You have a reason to jump up and celebrate because our worth is not based on our sins, our worth is not based on how good or how bad we are. Now that you know that God says you are worth it. You can stop listening to those other voices including your own. Have a Bless Sunday!

Our worth is based on GOD Himself. To God be the GLORY…Hallelujah

Exactly, Hope. The thing about this is that so often we all have wonder if we are worth it? But God shows us all how much we are worth that He would send His only Son to die for each of us.

I need to keep focussed on Jesus because sometimes, when I’m at my lowest, those voices pipe up again. I must admit, I struggle at times.

Sister Lesley I appreciate how you are so honest. I too struggle at times with it. Sadly not many Christians are so transparent
For me my struggle is with my job. I have been over looked so many times for promotions that I felt that I should of gotten. And it has caused me to ask myself am I worth it? Do I not have what it takes to do the job?

I find myself getting all worked up about it. Then after I have my pity party I can hear God speak and say. You are worth it! Do not be so overly concerned about being over look for that position.

I’m sorry you struggle too, Desiray. I’m sure most of us do. Like you, I have pity parties, but God is always faithful to lift me up again and He doesn’t allow me to wallow for too long. 😀

AMEN! He never lets His children wallow too long. Thank you Lesley.
