Over Analyzing

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Over analyze is something we humans do perfectly well, I am not sure why none of us have not written a book. We are professionals at over analyzing no matter what the situation is we have it locked. We did not get no college degree on the topic, but we got it sold up.

Why do we over analyze stuff? What makes us do this? Could it be that we do this when our emotions get in the way? When you over think, it means that you are worrying about something or a situation Normally they say that a woman is emotional but men I must tell you as well, you are the same way. You disguise yours better then what we women do, but men over analyze things as well. Anytime we over think anything we have already stepped into the arena of over analyzing.

It is when we are afraid and uncertain that makes us over think. So where do we go from here? We need to first recognize that we cannot control what happens in life. We can only control how we will respond to it. Secondly our emotions are something we should never put our trust in, for our emotions is like the weather it changes from moment to moment.

Over analyze any issue is a waste of time and energy and that is what the devil is wanting us to do. For he knows that when we focus on those things we aren’t focusing on God. It robs us from our time of keeping the faith.  God never told us to carry those burdens. He did say, Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Have a Blessed Monday.

  1. I have to say this scripture at least a few times per week. Over analyzing is one way the enemy attacks my peace. This scripture is the only thing that reminds me that it is not my job to worry and that God has everything under control.

    1. Amen. It’s a blessing to know that we can go to the word of God anytime and get a word at that very moment. Thank you for being so transparent. I know for myself when I start to over analyze my spirit will give me a word and immediately I stop doing it. Often times the Holy Spirit will do this more than once because I don’t always stop. That is why I love this scripture which I call my go-to word. It’s found in Isaiah 40:31 says, But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

This verse has gotten me through some tough times. Have a bless day my friend. Be safe.
