Normalcy

Mathew 6:30 says. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

I do believe we all are looking for normalcy. According to Merriam Webster the word normalcy was used from a return to normalcy after the war.  It is the state or fact of being normal.

Each day the people in the world is trying to find some type of normalcy for their lives. You and I have no control over this virus. We sure do not know when or even if it will ever be destroyed. Or if there is a cure for it. And with that we all have had some levels of anxiety present in our lives. Your normalcy could just be getting out of the bed for the day.

We are limited to what we can do. Thank God for social media at least we can stay connected to family and love ones. I know for me I miss having normalcy. I miss jumping in my car going to the gym, salon, and malls, etc.

Though I am in the house I am still able to continue my workout regimen in my office, I can still shop online. And as far as me going to the spa to be pampered I thank God for my husband. My nails might not be painted and manicured, but the natural look is definitely in.

Your girl needs a haircut. Will I cut it myself? No way. So, in the meantime I will have to wait. They say that keeping chemicals out of your hair is much healthier. Right there I am staying healthy.

We all have adjusted which tells me one thing. We are all resourceful. We can adapt. I cannot afford to live back on what the old normalcy uses to be before the virus. I live in the now which means my focus must change.

God says in his word, therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Please feel free to share your normalcy with me.

    1. I agree it is very important especially in this season that we are in. Oh yes on Acts 14:22. For the word of God says. strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

And that we must go through those hardships. Thanks for sharing. Be safe you and your family. God bless.
