Slowing Down

Psalm 46:10 says, Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

May you be encouraged today. As humans I don’t really think that we know how to slow down. For we are constantly on the move. We even struggle when we take a few minutes to relax. We can’t do that right for our thoughts are racing in our minds. And now that our world has come to a standstill, we now have been forced to slow down.

Let’s make this time productive. Use it to listen to what God has been trying to get you to hear before all of this. Because before we made excuses now there is no excuses.

Spend the time knowing those under your roof. I know your saying I already know them. But do you really? How many conversations have you had all to have them interrupted by something else that took their time away from you? We all are guilty of this. It’s never to late to make things right. If you want to make a difference in a person’s life, let’s start with the ones that are under our roof first. AMEN!

The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Come and see what the Lord has done,
    the desolations he has brought on the earth.
 He makes wars cease
    to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
    he burns the shields[d] with fire.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

 The Lord Almighty is with us;
