The Holy Spirit

For the next 18 days our Devotion will be on The Nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit. And the Nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The first nine days I will start with the nine fruits of the spirit, Which is found in Galatians 5:22-23 which says” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

My prayer is that as we go through these gifts and the manifestation that our lives will change as you and I open ourself up to the Holy Spirit. For we are to cultivate these fruits and gifts into our lives daily. My prayer also is that you would seek the Lord to help you in all these gifts and fruits so that you can be all that God has in-store for you.

The next nine are The Nine Gifts of the Spirit, which are the manifestation of the Spirit. It is found in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 says” Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.  To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,  to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,  to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
