Romans chapter 9, speaks about how God Is Calling His People. God called the people to do something and yet they missed it all because instead of trusting God they wanted to do it their way. Sounds like you and I at times. They were so absorbed in what they were doing that they didn’t notice God in front of them, like a huge rock in the middle of the road.
And because the people have over looked God, God told them to be careful! He said I’ve put a stone on the road to Mount Zion a stone you can’t get around, but the stone is Me! If you’re looking for me you’ll find me on the way, not in the way! God loves us so much this is why He is calling His people He want us to know that we must trust Him but never get so caught up in doing good that you forget Him!
If you ever find yourself seeing that rock in the road instead of trying to get it out-of-the-way or going around it ask the Lord to stop you in your tracks, because you and I can’t afford to miss what God is doing? AMEN
