As many of you already know I teach bible study in my local community park but what you don’t know is this. The Lord gave me a vision to hold a Prayer Aglow in my city at the same park where I have bible study. I am to contact every church in my city and invite them to come out for one night and pray for our Local and State Government and for more people to come to know Jesus.
Well my lovely hubby told me I needed to contact parks and recreation before I do this to make sure I have the park reserved. Now I told him I don’t think I need to because I never reserved it for Bible Study. The woman who we talked to told me that it could cost me $100.00 to host it in the park because some areas of the park are free and others aren’t. Well I said to myself Lord you gave me this vision and I believe it’s not going to cost a dime to do this. And so you handle it for me. Well needless to say this morning when I woke up I read my emails like every other morning and I got a respond from the woman who books the parks activities and she said October is a busy month for the park but she also said that depending on where I am holding it in the park it won’t cost me nothing. All I have to do is give her the date and time in which I am hosting this.Can you imagine all these churches coming together for one purpose just like in the Upper Room, on one accord to pray about our City and State and surrounding cities and states. I am so excited about this, because not only do the Pastors come but their congregation are invited as well. Do you know what this means family? If you don’t I do. It means that I am declaring and decreeing the State of Maryland a state for Jesus Christ.People are going to know that when you visit Maryland these people love Jesus Christ…Because in 2 Chronicles 7:14 gives the church a direct order in what to do if we are wanting God to heal our land and our land needs so much healing…AMEN
This Prayer Aglow event will held October 4, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
What a wonderful idea! My husband leads our Sunday school class and every week he tries to make it a point to pray for our government leaders. I think if more Christians made prayer for our government a priority, there would be big changes all over! Many blessings for October 4th. I’m in Pennsylvania, but I’ll be joining in prayer with you not only for my state, but also for my neighboring state of Maryland!
Thank you sis, I think that is a good idea that more people would join me with us here in Maryland as we pray for all the surrounding cities and states in MD and like you said if more Christians would pray for our government and make it a priority it would be some major changes, I know it would take care of the Unemployment, Health Care, Schools, Crimes and much more…that is what Jesus said if we do our part He would heal our land and that is what I want is healing for our land…thanks again for joining in on October 4, 6pm I am very excited about what God will do…

Wonderful–and I love how you just put the financial question in His hands and trusted Him to take care of it–wow!!
Have no other choice sis because it’s His vision and He has the resources and so yesterday after talking back and forth to the woman in charge of Parks and Recreations in our emails she said NO Charge….She gave me a place where I can use and it won’t cost one dime…I don’t believe when you are doing the work of God that one should pay for it. Leave it in His hands, He calls a person which means He has everything under control including the monies.
