Today happens to be Saturday and many people are out and about with family getting their child’s school shopping done. And so today I will make this an easy devotion. But it will make you think at least that is what I am hoping for.
If you knew today was going to be your last day today on earth, how would you live it? Would you immediately began to repent of all the wrong you did would you ask for forgiveness to every person, would you seek to do more for Jesus than what you are doing for Him now?
What it really balls down to is this” How important is Jesus to you? See if He’s really important like we profess than we would be totally different from what we are, we would accept the changes that the Lord is doing in us. But sadly we have far to many people jumping on the band wagon calling themselves Christians and don’t have the slightest idea what a Christian means. Did Jesus die on a cross just so you and I can stay the way we are? I don’t think so, matter of fact I know He didn’t. He died so we can have life eternal but He also want you and I to live a righteous life here on earth.
Are you living that righteous life, are their things in which you lack? Because in Psalm 34:9 says” O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. And in Proverbs 28:27 says” He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.
God is our God and we lack NOTHING? but many of us walk around and say things like I lack this or I lack that. In all honesty you really don’t lack what you think you lack is those desires that you want other than that God has provided for your every needs. Don’t get the two confused. So as you go about your day today, and this weekend, keep in mind ” if you are a Child of God you lack nothing, if you aren’t His child than you surely do lack, and it’s time for you to come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ so that you lack nothing. AMEN
Think about it folks we look at what others have and we desire what they have or part of it or maybe something similar either way God tells us we should desire what others have. God gives to us as He sees fit. I know at times you want a new car even a used one but what you don’t see is that if you got that used or new car God sees where it could be a problem for you and your family in the long run, so that is why you and I don’t lack nothing. Get the picture? Have a great weekend see you Monday.

Thank you for getting us thinking about how good He is and how we lack nothing with Him! God bless you!
Fabulous post Desiray.
Today I woke up thinking, I’ve got too much I’m going to give as much as I can away. I began with my clothes, and took them to the salvation army bank. I found it to be liberating!
Then the first blog post I read when I come into my room is yours… Confirmation!
Thankyou
Paul
don’t just love how God brings confirmation to you when you least expect it
