Our old ways of doing things has to become our past. We can’t do what God has for us if we are still clinging on to the old ways. And so as I was reading in the book of Ephesians chapter 4 Paul was telling the people that they must get rid of what they use to do and how they use to do things.
He said make a clean break with all cutting, back biting, profane talking. Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgiving one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you. He told them that when they would get angry, don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the devil that kind of foothold in your life
How many times when someone comes along and tell us something new the first thing we do is say, “that’s not how we use to do things” we can’t become people like that. Jesus is always doing a new thing and if you and I stay stuck in our old ways we will see the blessing go right on pass us. People don’t like change but when it comes to God transforming our minds we need to accept it and stop fighting Him. Remember He knows what is best!
And so today your challenge is this, go through your thought box mind and begin to get rid of those old ways of doing things and open your mind up to the possibilities of GOD,you be amazed at what you can see…AMEN
Hope you all have a great day today, as you know it’s Thursday and that means I will be at the park today having bible study and witnessing to those who don’t know Jesus.
