Update about the Ministry

I know you guys have been wondering what is going on with the Ministry. The weather here has been very hot and humid and so the two weeks the people have stopped  coming because of the hot heat wave we have been having here and I can’t blame them. Now I’ve been there sitting under a several trees with a blanket so if anyone did show up they can cool off. And than I began asking myself Lord is the reason the people stopped coming is because of the heat? Needless to say I did not get a respond from God on that, He said you be there, regardless. Talk about a direct order from God. And so I go sit under my trees with water and a blanket and you know what. I not once felt the heat wave on me I did not once sweat or anything. It was if God put a cloud over me to keep me cool until the study was over. And I used that time talking to God and still having my lesson even though it was just Jesus and I. There was a few people who would running during their exercises they must have thought to themselves why is this woman talking to her self?

I still don’t know what ALL JESUS has in store for this Ministry but one thing I keep hearing clearly and that is you be faithful and obedient. Some people might look at this and say “if the people stop coming because of the heat than you should stop but see that is what the enemy would love for me to do is stop. Did you not know that the elements of the weather we are having does not control God, God controls it. This is my verse I am standing on Romans 8:30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Yesterday I was in the bank and was talking to the teller letting her know I hold a bible study in baker park and she said really? I did not know that, I informed her I also purchase bibles and give them out to those who don’t  have a bible and she said,” wow that is good. I asked her does she have a bible and she said yes, but you know what? I said what, she said I don’t read my bible like I ought to, and so I said than today will be a good day for you to start and she said , you are right I will. And I will also come on my days off and tell others about your bible study.

Now here is the blessing as I was talking to her standing right next to me was a business man who listen intently and then the rest of the tellers stopped what they was doing and listen to what I was telling the teller clerk who was helping me.

When I finished my transaction  I said goodbye and called her by her name she smiled and said have a great day Desiray. Now imagine if you would the seeds that I planted in that bank? Gave the teller encouragement to get back into the word of God and a business man who listen and not sure what he even thought or what was going through his mind. But God had me there for a reason.
