Latest Update About The Ministry

And so I just had to type this up before we leave tomorrow, yesterday was Bible Study in the Park and as many of you know from my devotion I posted about “Cause of The Day” well many of you wanted to know what happen? Well I have a few surprises of just what happened and all the results are not in as of yet.

Remember how I said I was going to go on Twitter and witness to people, well I still haven’t heard anything as of yet, which tells me they are thinking about what I have said. But what did happen because I went on Twitter when we got to the Park yesterday I didn’t know how many if any would show up because last week I told people I would not be there because I will be planning and preparing for our vacation. But in my heart I knew I had to go because you just never know, right, who just might show up.

And so when I got there, I saw about five teenagers riding their bikes at first I sat down and I watched them all, for about five minutes my husband said baby are you going to talk to them I said yes but right now I am discerning something. By this time my husband went to talk to them to find out what school they attended and he was asking them about their bikes. Getting to know them, when my husband was finish talking he sat down next to me.

He said so what are you going to do I said I already know which one the Lord want me to talk to and as soon as I said it the young man came over to me on his bike and I asked him. What was his plans for the summer and he said just riding my bike, I asked are you from this area he said yes I am now but originally from New York, I asked him does he go to church he said I use to but not no more, I said can you tell me why? And he said because I sin and because I sin I shouldn’t be in church, I said can I tell you something he said yes, I said, we all sin because we live in this fleshly body, but when we sin we can go to Jesus every time and ask for forgiveness of our sins. He said yes but it’s hard, I asked what church he did go to when he told me of course I knew actually who his pastor was.

Then I told him I said let me tell you a little something, don’t let your sin keep you from going to church okay, I asked how long has it been since you stayed away from the church he said two years. That is a long time I said would you be interested in going to an evening service like on Wednesdays, the reason I said that was because everything I tried to find away for him to go back to church he kept giving me excuses. Then I asked him the final question I said if you die today or tomorrow do you know without a doubt where eternity for you will be?

He paused and said yes I will go to heaven I said are you sure? Then he said since I’ve been out of church so long I guess I am not sure I am saved. The moment I was about to ask him to rededicate his life, he got nervous and rode his bike away from me and back to his friends.

But the strangest thing is this the whole time he was riding his bike and talking to his boys and believe me one of the boys was cursing this young man kept watching me like a child would watch to see his mother. His spirit was so open and ready and hubby and I both agreed that he will go back to church. I could sense it in my spirit, his real problem was that he thought because of his sin that he should not be in church and I wanted him to know you belong in church for we all sin.

When I told him I was a Minister he was shocked because I looked nothing like a minister I had on my sneakers and shorts along with my baseball cap…and that is how I dress when I go to the park I am comfortable and so I want them to be comfortable to talk.

The reason why I waited and discern the spirits was because there was an evil presence around us and I knew I had to wait on Jesus first to give me the okay to do what needed to be done. After that they evil spirit left and the presence of God was there. When we left the park I told my husband I said baby that young man whom I witness to will be back in church I don’t know when but I know he is going to be back because I sense it in my spirit.

As I say I never know what Jesus is going to do when we meet at the park for Bible Study..One thing I do know never expect the same thing to happen because He is always doing something new in our lives, AMEN…well I had to post that before I left and so when I get back we will see how the witnessing went on Twitter, I checked this morning and still no comments I thought it would be one especially from those who call themselves Atheist, I guess I give them something to think about…Glory to God..See you next week…
